You may be wondering what this Be Ready course is in your Moodle or why you are getting some of the emails from the forums.
Well, all incoming first year students are automatically enrolled in this course as preparation for their first year. Feel free to log in and check out our checklists and things to do before arriving in September. The News Forum is a place for general announcements. So if there are messages like this one that apply to everyone, you will get them sent to your email.
There is another Forum on this page that is an “Ask a Question” forum. Anyone can ask any question – students and staff will be checking in and answering questions as they are posted. If you post a question you will be entered into a monthly draw for prizes from UPEI’s Bookstore. You will see all questions and responses so you won’t miss out on any information.
The Be Ready page has lots of information about Moodle – this is where your professors may post notes, assignments, videos, and your course syllabus. It is important to be familiar with these features so when classes begin, you are ready to go!
