She interviewed the students two years later and\u00a0elicited comments such as: &#8220;I was really proud. Even my great-grandmother was really proud;\u201d\u00a0\u201cWe must keep our culture strong so we don&#8217;t forget our ancestors.\u201d Locally, this was a\u00a0collaborative project with students, teachers and the community.
