We&#8217;ll have a telescope viewing of the Moon from 6:30-8:30PM in our observatory, plus we&#8217;ll have some information a<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-737 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/astronomy\/files\/2017\/10\/logo-lg.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/astronomy\/files\/2017\/10\/logo-lg.png 250w, https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/astronomy\/files\/2017\/10\/logo-lg-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/>nd activities about the Moon while you wait for your turn to go up to the telescope.<\/p>\n<p>Our observatory is on the rooftop of UPEI\u2019s Memorial Hall, but we ask that you come first to room 417. Volunteers from local astronomy groups and UPEI Physics will be available to answer any astronomy questions for you while you wait.<\/p>\n<p>It is necessary to climb a flight of stairs to reach the telescope, but the elevator can be taken up to the 4th floor waiting room.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-483\" src=\"https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/astronomy\/files\/2015\/02\/Observatory-Location-Parking.png\" alt=\"Observatory Location &amp; Parking\" width=\"926\" height=\"441\" srcset=\"https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/astronomy\/files\/2015\/02\/Observatory-Location-Parking.png 926w, https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/astronomy\/files\/2015\/02\/Observatory-Location-Parking-300x143.png 300w, https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/astronomy\/files\/2015\/02\/Observatory-Location-Parking-500x238.png 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 926px) 100vw, 926px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the evening hours, campus parking lots are free, with parking lots B and C being the nearest lots to Memorial Hall.<\/p>\n<p>If the weather is cloudy and we cannot observe the Moon, then the event may be postponed or cancelled.
