Welcome to The Centre for Education Reserach (CER)

The (CER) has been part of the Faculty of Education is a place where scholars of all description – academics, policy makers, graduate students, practitioners – can come together to explore questions pertinent to education on Prince Edward Island. As you navigate these pages you will see some of the work done by the CER.

Due to ongoing renovations on campus, CER does not have a physical location at the moment but is maintained as a virtual institution. That said, it does organize and facilitate activities where educators can gather to discuss pertinent matters. These events include an annual Research Forum plus a series of public talks, research seminars, journal clubs, and theory conversations which are open to all.
