This is the very first of its kind at UPEI and all other universities in eastern Canada.  UPEI successfully hosted three major KS international conferences in late June 2018, 2023, and 2024. Thirteen to eighteen prominent and promising scholars in Philosophy, Religious Studies, or History at American, Canadian, Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese, Chinese, and European universities participated and contributed to each of these conferences with 5–6 panels for two fully days. Thanks to our KS projects (2018–2021 and 2022–2205; each funded by Korean Studies Promotion Service, the AKS, Korean Ministry of Education), Dr. Chung and the CKS successfully carried out these international conferences
