Past KS International Conferences at UPEI, 2018-2023

Over the past 5 years, UPEI successfully hosted two major KS conferences at UPEI in late June 2018 and June 2023, and 13–18 prominent and promising scholars in Philosophy, Religious Studies, or History from USA, Canada, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and China participated in each of these conferences with  5–6 panels for two days. With the support of Dr. Chung’s KS international project grants (2018–2021 and 2022–25; thanks to one-third of CA$1M for each project funded by Korean Studies Promotion Service, the AKS, Korea), Dr. Chung organized each conference and UPEI’s KS project hosted and funded each conference. A very successful event at UPEI; the first of its kind ever.
