1. Semantic sentences<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Start with a simple search like where’s the closest airport<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’re looking for a place or product in a specific location, add the location, bakery charlottetown<\/mark><\/em> or nearby restaurant<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Keyword Filter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

2.1.   Using Predefined keywords<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Weather: See the weather in your location or city name, like weather cavendish<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dictionary: Put define <\/em><\/mark>in front of any word to see its definition<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calculations: Enter a math equation like 3*9123<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unit conversions: Enter any conversion, like 3 dollars in euros<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.2.   Using Filtering keywords<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Colon: Search within site like success centre site:upei.ca<\/mark><\/em>; similarly related for other links similar to a website like related:upei.ca<\/mark><\/em>; and link for other links mentioned by the website like link:upei.ca<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At: Search specific social media like fsde success centre @instagram<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dollar: Search price of specific product like camera $400<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hashtag: Search specific hashtag all over the internet like #Halloween<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.3.   Using Locator keywords<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Title: Search words mentioned in title or in the link (url) itself intitle:success centre inurl:upei.ca<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Image: Search image with specific size (pixels) like imagesize:500×480<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extension: Search files with specific extension like thermodynamics extension:pdf<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.4.   Using Logical keywords<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Boolean: Search with AND\/OR logic like sugar AND milk<\/mark><\/em> or Tim Horton OR Starbuck nearby<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minus: Exclude words or website from the results like jaguar speed -car or jaguar -pinterest<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plus: Similarly include words or website like news + twitter<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tilde: Search allow similar words like ~used ~cars<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quotes: Search exact match like \u201ctallest building\u201d<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asterisk: Placeholder for one or more words missing like happy * to you<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Percent: Placeholder for one or more characters missing like Mic%el MacDougal<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Reverse Image Search<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

3.1.   Upload an image<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
  1. Go to Google Images<\/a>.<\/li>
  2. Click Search by image

    1. Click Upload a file.<\/li>
    2. Select an image.<\/li>
    3. Click Open or Choose.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      3.2.   Upload URL link of online image<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      1. On your computer, go to a web browser and access the website with the image you want to use.<\/li>
      2. To copy the URL, right-click on the image and click Copy image (URL) address.<\/li>
      3. Go to Google Images<\/a>.<\/li>
