Well, I hate it when the temperature ranges between 25-30 degrees Celsius because it makes me feel uncomfortable by burning my face. Having the opportunity to come study in Canada &#8211; PEI to be specific &#8211; I actually expected it to be cold but not to the extent of a &nbsp;-13 degree Celsius which is obviously not a favourable temperature for a \u2018tropical guy\u2019 like me to complete a class assignment titled, \u2018A walk on the Edge.\u2019 Anyway, I always like to try new things, so I \u2018filled up my boots.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"277\" height=\"300\" src=\"http:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob-1-277x300.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-392\" srcset=\"https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob-1-277x300.png 277w, https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob-1.png 407w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 277px) 100vw, 277px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-391\" src=\"http:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob2-297x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"606\" srcset=\"https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob2-297x300.png 297w, https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob2.png 436w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a>&nbsp;<em>Pictures taken by me as I had my &#8216;Walk on the Edge&#8217; at Brackley Beach.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The images above show pictures taken by me while I walked on the edge of &nbsp;the Brackley Beach in Prince Edward Island on the 19th of January 2019. I observed that the beach and its shores were frozen and the themes that came in mind while I walked on the edge of the frozen Brackley Beach include freedom, peace, and tranquility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob4.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"270\" height=\"300\" src=\"http:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob4-270x300.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-389\" srcset=\"https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob4-270x300.png 270w, https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob4.png 411w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 270px) 100vw, 270px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Walking on the shores of the Brackley Beach, I experienced peace and tranquility, which enabled me to think or worry less of all the world and the trouble it may bring. I further thought of how most people especially those in war-torn countries yearn to have such peace but unfortunately do not get it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob5.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"181\" src=\"http:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob5-300x181.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-388\" srcset=\"https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob5-300x181.png 300w, https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob5-768x464.png 768w, https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob5-496x300.png 496w, https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob5.png 935w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>I noticed freedom while I walked on \u2018the edge&#8217; of the Brackley Beach. Watching the birds fly over the across the beach with no restrictions made me think of one thing, which is freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regardless of the temperature, the experience of walking on the edge was a great experience because I had the opportunity to witness nature and value the things we mostly take for granted, which are peace, tranquility, and freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"269\" height=\"300\" src=\"http:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob3-269x300.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-390\" srcset=\"https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob3-269x300.png 269w, https:\/\/projects.upei.ca\/mais\/files\/2019\/03\/Jacob3.png 410w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 269px) 100vw, 269px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Freedom, peace and tranquility are some of the most common attributes found on most Islands.
