The Seib lab was awarded an NSERC Discovery Grant and a Discovery Launch Supplement to study the Effects of Maternal Diet on Brain Development and Behaviour !<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exciting news! Our recent paper<\/a> on how maternal high sucrose intake impacts offspring brain development has just been featured by the Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health, University of British Columbia, Vancouver. There\u2019s a news article<\/a> available along with a short video<\/a> that breaks down the key findings. Stay tuned for insights from our lab that could change how we think about nutrition in pregnancy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The article was also chosen for the Journal of Endocrinology<\/em> 2025 Editor’s Choice Award<\/a>, a quarterly feature, recognising authors for their significant contribution to endocrine research by highlighting papers and figures of special significance or novelty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
