Here are the Top 10 reasons to be at Welcome Week  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        UPEI Welcome Week (Previously Known as NSO) Kick Off<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

                        Why Should Returning UPEI Students Sign Up to be a Point Person, Leader, or Volunteer?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        As a returning student, you have the opportunity to mentor and guide students with unique backgrounds. These students will mostly be entering first-year but can include returning students as well. The Office of Student Culture and Community Standards, alongside the Welcome Week Committee, would be overjoyed to have you on our team. There are three different opportunities for you to join the Welcome Week team: as a point person, leader, or volunteer. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        Joining our team is beneficial to both you and us: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                          \n
                        1. It provides you with an opportunity to enhance your resume with experience, and also the Welcome Week Coordinators could be a potential reference! <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
                            \n
                          1. It allows you to become more involved and familiar with everything about UPEI. This is valuable, but also, several work positions here at UPEI look for students who have a well-rounded knowledge of the campus during the hiring procedure!\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
                              \n
                            1. It provides you with an opportunity to practice several key skills for any emerging adult: teamwork, leadership, interpersonal relationships, good communication, etc.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                              1. Finally, it allows you to create lasting friendships, connections, and relationships with folks who may become key players in your UPEI journey. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
