The AGM is held each year in November. It consists of a short business meeting and a guest speaker.
Guest Presentations are usually held in October and April.
A Christmas/Holiday Luncheon was held for the first time in December, 2025. It was a popular event and will be planned again in coming years.
Outdoor nature walks have been held in the spring during the last several years.
Upcoming Events
- April 22nd, 2026, 2pm. Dr. Suzanne Kresta, Dean of the Faculty of Sustainable Engineering, will present about student projects, programs, and research. The presentation will be held in McDougall Hall, Room 246 (The Hennessey MacDonald Lecture Theatre). Coffee, tea, and cookies will be served.
- May 23rd, 10am. Gary Schneider from Macphail Woods will lead us on a walk in Victoria Park to learn about the improvements that have been made in the Park. There is no rain date so please bring your umbrella if it is raining.
- June 11th, 2026, 1145 am. Our Spring Luncheon will be held in Andrew Hall Room 142. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Aitazaz Farooque, Associate Dean of the UPEI School of Climate Change and Adaptation.
Ad hoc Events
During the winter months we usually schedule at least two Coffee & Conversation events.
Since 2018, our Association hosts a Student Soup Luncheon at the Chaplaincy Centre. Members can volunteer to help with the “Soup for the Soul” luncheons in December.
