The Dr. Etienne Côté Endowed Chair in Veterinary Cardiology was established through a transformational $3 million gift from Sandra and Sarah Irving, The Arthur and Sandra Irving Foundation, and the Arthur L. Irving Family Foundation.
Their generosity reflects a belief in the power of higher education to create lasting change. Through this visionary investment, the Chair will help strengthen veterinary medicine in Atlantic Canada while expanding opportunities for learning, discovery, and leadership in animal health.
At its heart, the endowment was created with a “dream big” philosophy. It is intended to give future generations the freedom to pursue promising ideas, explore new possibilities, and make meaningful contributions to veterinary medicine that might otherwise remain out of reach.
