Born and raised on Prince Edward Island (Epekwitk), I graduated from Bluefield High School in 2015 and wasn’t sure where I wanted to take my career. A burning curiosity about Psychology took me to the university setting.

I completed a Bachelor of Arts – Major in Psychology, Minor in Business and Sociology at the University of Prince Edward Island. During my education at UPEI, I worked as a research assistant for Dr. Hayden Woodley. This experience taught me that I would like to pursue research in the form of an Honours Thesis. Fortunately, Dr. Woodley and Dr. Raquel Hoersting agreed to supervise my undergrad thesis titled Leadership During a Pandemic. My research explores how different leadership styles impact employees’ organizational commitment within various workplace contexts.

My research interests are primarily within the Industrial/Organizational Psychology field and include group & team dynamics, personnel selection & training, and employee health & well-being. I am also interested in Sport Psychology.
