Kelly Rivera, an international student from Ecuador, brings a strong communications background and a passion for research related to immigrant populations in Prince Edward Island (PEI). Kelly is a Master of Arts student in Island Studies (MAIS) at the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI). With a Bachelor’s degree in audiovisual and multimedia communications from her home country, Kelly brings a unique blend of skills that bridges their background in communications with her research and psychology expertise.

Inspired by her experiences as an international student and her thesis findings on the departure of international graduates from PEI, Kelly aspires to contribute to research endeavors that shed light on the challenges and opportunities faced by immigrant populations in the region. With a strong foundation in communications and a dedication to research, Kelly aims to make a positive impact in her chosen field.
