PLC Programming

To control the fan speeds and damper positions, the team chose to incorporate a Do-More BRX PLC. The programming was completed in the five stages outlined below.

1 – Program Initialization

3 – Fan Control

  • Mixing Fan Logic
  • Exhaust Fan Control

4 – HMI Communication

5 – PID Tuning

  • PID Values from Simulation
  • PID Autotune
