Welcome Week Coordinators
The Welcome Week Coordinators are the mastermind behind everything Welcome Week. They plan, organize, execute, and oversee all operations about Welcome Week. From events, workshops, and information sessions; to videos, social media and prize coordination. Your Welcome Week Coordinators are your go-to person for everything! Welcome Week Committee
The Welcome Week Committee comprises key staff members at UPEI who work together with the Welcome Week Coordinators to prepare Welcome Week for all our students. This includes staff from Office of Student Culture and Community Standards.

Welcome Week Leaders
Welcome Week Leaders are the heart of Welcome Week.
These dedicated student volunteers work alongside the Welcome Week Coordinators and Campus Life staff to help ensure every new student feels welcomed, supported, and included throughout the week.
Leaders assist with a wide variety of responsibilities, including:
- Welcoming and engaging with incoming students.
- Helping students navigate campus and find events.
- Leading student groups throughout programming.
- Supporting event setup, logistics, and crowd management.
- Answering questions and sharing information about Welcome Week and UPEI.
- Creating an energetic, positive, and inclusive atmosphere at every event.
- Assisting wherever additional support is needed to help Welcome Week run smoothly.

Campus Life Advisors
The Campus Life Advisors are some of the biggest champions of student life at UPEI—and during Welcome Week, they’ll be some of your go-to people!
Working alongside the Welcome Week Coordinators, Campus Life Advisors help lead Welcome Week by supporting student groups, guiding Welcome Week Leaders, answering questions, and making sure every event is welcoming, organized, and full of energy. Whether you’re looking for your next event, wondering where to go, or just need a friendly face to chat with, they’re always happy to help.
As a Welcome Week Leader, you’ll also work closely with the Campus Life Advisors throughout the week. They’ll help guide leader teams, answer questions, provide support during events, and make sure everyone has what they need to create an incredible experience for incoming students.
The best part? Their support doesn’t stop after Welcome Week.
Throughout the year, Campus Life Advisors continue building an engaging campus community through events, activities, and the Campus Life Lounge—a welcoming space where students can study, relax, play games, meet new friends, and get involved in university life.
