Prince Edward Island is often called the “Cradle of Confederation” because of its historic role in the formation of Canada. In this activity students will discover downtown Charlottetown and tour some of Charlottetown’s historic landmarks: Fanningbank Government House, Beaconsfield Museum, Charlottetown Waterfront, Province House, and St. Dunstan’s Basilica.
