BIOGRAPHY
Barbara (Palmer) Rousseau returned to university after thirty years in the Ottawa software development industry, enrolling in the Bachelor of Integrated Studies (BIS) program at UPEI in 2019. After completing her BIS (concentration in Environmental Studies) in 2022, she joined the MAIS program, Thesis option, with a focus on the resilience of the PEI’s north-shore coastal dunes. Since moving to PEI, she has also taken up painting and sketching, and is now displaying her work at several Island locations.
Barbara currently splits her time between Charlottetown and St. Peters Harbour but looks forward to being able to explore the north shore further, in support of her research and artistic pursuits.
