User Interface

The Tow tank user interface is on the touchscreen HMI in front of the panel and it is the way the user will interact with the system to conduct tests.

The Different screens available to the operator can be seen in the screen map image above
Here, the operator can pick what mode they would like to use the tow tank in
This page allows the operator to initiate the homing sequence
This page allows the operator to move the carriage to the install-hull position for maintenance
This screen is where the operator can set up and perform resistance tests.

Once the tests are complete, the user will retrieve the test data on a USB stick for analysis using the excel macro.
