Two Asian/Korean Studies International Speaker Series talks with the rescheduled dates (and the same location and time: Main Faculty lounge, 2:15-3:45) as follows:

▪ Dr. Philp J. Ivanhoe (Georgetown University, Washington D.C.) presents a thought-provoking lecture, “Oneness, Virtue, and Happiness: Confucian, Comparative, and Contemporary Perspectives,” April 27 (Thursday), 2:15–3:45 pm, Faculty Lounge, SDU Main building.

▪ Dr. Jin Y. Park (American University, Washington D.C.) presents another fascinating lecture, Women in Contemporary Buddhism: Reflections on Korean Zen Master Kim Iryŏp,” May 2 (Tuesday), 2:15–3:45, Faculty Lounge, SDU Main building.

Begins with refreshments and a reception (15 mins). Each event and speaker will be welcomed by the VPAR or Associate VPR at the beginning, introduced by the Asian Studies Director, and then thanked by the Dean of Arts at the end. For more details, please see online UPEI event calendar:
