Megan Lane MacDonald
Megan Lane is a lifelong Islander from Knox’s Dam, Montague. She is a graduate of the University of Prince Edward Island where she studied English and history and is now in the Master of Arts in Island Studies program. Megan Lane has won multiple awards for her writing including the MacLauchlan Effective Writing Award. Her poems, “Breakwater” and “Passenger”, have been published in the UPEI Arts Review Volume IX. Outside of poetry, Megan enjoys singing along to musicals, exploring fantasy worlds from the safety of her armchair, and reading mysteries and pretending she can solve them.
