The Institute currently operating two Lecture and Speaker Series for the UPEI and wider provincial communities.

The Faith and Knowledge Lecture Series is an annual lecture series held in the Fall. The SDU Institute brings in an influential speaker of national or international significance, to present a topic of a moral, ethical or religious natures that would be of interest to a wide segment of the Christian population of Prince Edward Island.

The Theology on Tap series is aimed primarily at UPEI faculty, staff and students and is held in an informal atmosphere (currently the Pour House at The Old Triangle) where social, political and moral topics are considered within the Christian intellectual tradition. The series consists of six lecture/discussion sessions per academic year – September, October, November, January, February and March.
