TED Talk: Social Media and the End of Gender
A short Ted Talk from 2010 that explored how social media is altering traditional media. It is an interesting critique. Might seem a little dated. Could be a good leaping off point for a larger discussion.
While this short video is aimed at a young audience, it is a quick and easy guide to the basics.
While not specific to teaching, a good brief introduction to the limitations of gender and sexuality binaries. Language changes quickly and some terms not as widely used anymore, but an important and accessible resource. (2009, 19mins.)
